The 1/2-length, uniquely-shaped sleeves with mitten cuffs closed provide partial suppression of the Startle Reflex to help the baby sleep better. If the baby rolls onto their tummy, they can push up to reposition their head and access air.
The foldover mitten cuffs may be worn open or closed, allowing the caregiver to open one or both cuffs so the baby can self-soothe by sucking directly on their hand. Alternatively, the cuffs can be closed to protect the baby from facial scratches and provide partial suppression of the startle reflex.
