The First Woombie Prototype

The first Woombie prototype was created when Karen Barski, the mother and nurse, found herself in need of a solution to help her newborn sleep safely. After many sleepless nights, Karen took to her grandmother's sewing machine and created the very first Woombie swaddle, and it worked!
